Tsugaru Vidro Handmade Sake Glass Spring Wind Design
Tsugaru Vidro is a traditional craft work that is certified by Aomori Prefecture in Japan. It is made overnight from 1500 degrees of furnace. Melted glass in the 1200 degrees of molding temperature is wrapped around a blowing rod. And it is blown and molded by shaking the rod up and down, right and left with great care of the craftsman. The expansion or the stretch of the color in the glass varies depends on the making process, shape of the glass, that each one is made in a different blending. All this care and craftsman’s spirit make only one Tsugaru vidro. This pattern of the glass is wind of Spring in Japan. It reminds us an image of Spring with the petals of Sakura Cherry blossoms float gently from above in the breeze. Gold-leaf embedded on the upper side adds the glass some more elegance. How about pouring Sake or wine and enjoying a special moment with only one Japanese glass?
